Mother Bird - Wildstroke by Perla

This series draws on the parallels between our experiences, our characters and those of birds. We seldom think about how much our life journeys are in tune with other living beings. That's where I draw most of my inspiration from, reflecting on the traits we share with nature, with birds.

An interpretation of a mother's embrace with this camouflaged Swallow nest. 'Cradle' from the 'Mother Bird' series symbolizes love, protection, nurturing and strength.

Swirling Swift

This one's for the wild-hearted, free-spirited out there. 'Swirling Swift' from the 'Mother Bird' series is a representation of the extreme migratory behaviour of this creature of the air, who spends 10 months a year entirely on the wing!

Dreams Ascendant

An interpretation of achievement, aspiration and aviation in commemoration of the 92nd anniversary of Amelia Earhart's historic solo transatlantic flight.
